The distribution of 21 cytokine polymorphisms within 13 cytokine and cytokine receptor genes was analyzed in 102 healthy Thai individuals using the LIFECODES Cytokine SNP Typing kit. The TGFB codon25 marker is monomorphic in the Thai population. The IL1B+3962, IL6-174, and TNFA-238 are very rare polymorphisms, with only 0.01-0.04 minor allele frequency (MAF).
