A study of erythrocyte superoxide dismutase in Cervus dama, Cervus elaphus, Cervus nippon and Cervus elaphus x Cervus nippon hybrids has revealed a polymorphism of this enzyme system in Cervus elaphus as well as in the hybrid population.
