A Gram-stain-positive, aerobic, non-motile actinomycete strain, designated YIM 65601(T), was studied by using a polyphasic approach. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons revealed that strain YIM 65601(T) should be assigned to the genus Nonomuraea, with highest 16S rRNA gene sequence similarities to Nonomuraea candida HMC10(T) (98.8 %), N. salmonea DSM 43678(T) (98.7 %), N. turkmeniaca...
