The Y-STRs DYS481, DYS570, DYS576, and DYS643 were investigated in a West Saxonian population sample, which have been previously typed with the well known minimal or extended haplotype of Y-STRs. Observed allele frequencies are reported along with the allele nomenclature based on sequencing.
