PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Warts, hypogammaglobulinemia, infections, and myelokathexis (WHIM) syndrome is characterized by susceptibility to human papilloma virus infection-induced warts and carcinomas; neutropenia, B-cell lymphopenia and hypogammaglobulinema-related infections; and bone marrow myelokathexis (myeloid hyperplasia with apoptosis).
