OBJECTIVE: The goal of this study was to determine the prevalence of severe nausea and vomiting of pregnancy/hyperemesis gravidarum among relatives of affected individuals. STUDY DESIGN: Family history data were obtained on 1224 self-reported cases of hyperemesis gravidarum.
