Medulloblastoma, a highly malignant pediatric tumor of the posterior fossa, demonstrates a marked propensity for leptomeningeal dissemination. Although the predominant site of relapse is the posterior fossa, the prevention of subarachnoid spread would be of significant therapeutic value.
