Familial hypomagnesemic hypercalciuria and nephrocalcinosis (FHHNC [MIM 248250]) is a rare renal tubular disorder characterized by impaired reabsorption of magnesium and calcium in the thick ascending limb of Henle's loop (tALH), causing renal magnesium wasting and hypercalciuria.
