Seckel syndrome (SCKL) [OMIM Entry 210600] is a rare, autosomal recessive syndrome, characterized by severe intrauterine and postnatal growth retardation, microcephaly, mental retardation, and typical facial appearance with beaklike protrusion of the midface (bird-headed).
