The present study detected two single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) at the PLA2G4D locus, rs2459692 and rs4924618, to investigate a genetic association between the PLA2G4D gene and schizophrenia. A total of 236 Chinese parent-offspring trios of Han descent were recruited for the genetic analysis.
