OBJECTIVE: To study the mechanism of microbial mutation in aerospace. METHOD: Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) was used to analyze the polymorphism of high Lovastatin-producing mutants. RESULT: Variations occurred in genomes of these mutants.
