Candida albicans represents the most pervasive fungal pathogen colonizing humans ([5][1], [36][2]). Its success stems in part from its capacity to live as a benign commensal in a majority of healthy individuals in one or more of a variety of body locations, most notably the oral cavity, genitalia,
