Chondrosarcoma is the second most common primary malignancy of bone. Cytogenetic data are available from close to 100 cases, including all subtypes of chondrosarcoma. Specific chromosomal rearrangements have been identified only in extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma (EMC).
