This 7-year retrospective longitudinal study was carried out in order to clarify the clinical features of elderly type 2 diabetic patients with microalbuminuria. Elderly Japanese type 2 diabetic patients (n = 22; age 50 - 73 years) with microalbuminuria were studied retrospectively.
