A prospective analysis of cytomegalovirus (CMV) glycoprotein B (gB) genotypes was conducted on 34 renal transplant recipients using peripheral blood leukocytes (PBLs) and urine specimens. The CMV gB genotypes were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) followed by enzyme digestion.
