In infertile men who carry a balanced reciprocal translocation, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) may induce a pregnancy with an abnormal karyotype. This report describes a previously unreported paternal reciprocal translocation leading to a chromosomally unbalanced ICSI pregnancy.
