For “Multidimensional variation and population stratification across 8000 complete human centromeres”: how many individuals, populations, and unrelated chromosomes contribute to that count? Please report per-population sample size, assembly completeness, unresolved sequence, and exclusions. Population-stratified reference estimates are hard to interpret if centromere count obscures ancestry coverage or repeated measurements within individuals.
