A 12-year-old girl with Sly disease (mucopolysaccharidosis VII; beta-glucuronidase deficiency), who is homozygous for the A619V mutation, had a successful allogeneic BMT, donored by an HLA-identical unrelated female to replace the deficient enzyme.
