The genomic DNA of eight strains of Taylorella equigenitalis, isolated from seven Norwegian Trotters and a Norwegian pony with contagious equine metritis in Norway, was examined by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis after separate digestions with two restriction enzymes, namely, ApaI and NotI.
