Group specific component (GC), Haptoglobin (HP), Transferrin (TF), Caeruloplasmin (CP) and Albumin (Alb) plasma protein genes were studied in two endogamous Viswa subpopulations, the Viswa Brahmin caste and an artisan community (goldsmiths and carpenters) from Visakhapatnam (Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South India).
