A novel elongated mutant has been isolated from EMS-mutagenized populations of the Arabidopsis thaliana ga4 mutant. After backcrossing with the Landsberg erecta (Ler) wild-type (WT) followed by selfing, the mutant phenotype was identified in the GA4 background.
