Analysis of the genetic structure of two green frog Rana esculenta complex populations from Volyn' was performed for 7 diagnostical loci. Populations of R- and REL-type were detected in which the introgression of Ldh-B allelic gene locus from R. lessonae into genome of R. ridibunda, characteristic for hybrid populations of Dnieper basin, was absent.
