Phenotyping of haptoglobin Hp has been performed in 74 patients with recurrent tuberculosis. In patients with recurrences homozygous variant of phenotype Hp 2-2 occurs more frequently, while heterozygous variant Hp 2-1 less frequently. In carriers of phenotype Hp 2-2 recurrent tuberculosis is found more frequently, runs more seriously, heals in the presence of destruction less actively. These reasons underlie...
