We analysed the distribution of mutant mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) with A-to-G substitution mutation of tRNA(Leu)(UUR) in various autopsied tissues from a patient with mitochondrial myopathy, encephalopathy, lactic acidosis and stroke-like episodes (MELAS).
