We report on the second trimester prenatal diagnosis of an apparently nonmosaic tetraploid fetus, 92,XXYY. Indications for cytogenetic studies of the fetus included abnormal ultrasound findings and abnormal maternal serum levels of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP)/estriol.
