Genome size (the amount of DNA per cell) was measured by flow-cytometric analysis in seven species of a chromosomally variable rodent genus: Ctenomys boliviensis, C. conoveri, C. frater, C. leucodon, C. lewisi, C. opimus, and C. steinbachi.
