Abstract excerpt
Haptoglobin (Hp) phenotypes were determined in 646 subjects aged 25 to 76. Hp phenotype distribution in the examinees (13.6% for type 1-1; 49.4% for type 2-1; and 37.0% for type 2-2) was found as expected.
