Cytokinins influence several fundamental processes of plant growth and development, including cell division and organogenesis. To identify genes involved in cytokinin response, a screen was carried out for mutants of Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. that are resistant to elevated levels of exogenous cytokinins.
