The spermatocytes of 39 sterile males found among inbred mice were studied cytogenetically at diakinesis-metaphase I of meiosis. The chromosome aberrations: reciprocal translocation (7.7%), autosome univalents and sex chromosome dissociation were found in 17.95% of the sterile males.
