In this research we localize the cytokinesis-inhibiting sepD5 mutation in Aspergillus nidulans to gene AN3659, previously named paxB, which is predicted to encode a LIM domain protein orthologous to the Pxl1 scaffold proteins of S. cerevisiae and S. pombe.
