BACKGROUND: In the phase III LAURA study, osimertinib demonstrated a statistically significant progression-free survival benefit versus placebo, and a generally tolerable safety profile, after definitive chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in unresectable stage III EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer.
