Myosins are crucial motor proteins associated with the actin cytoskeleton in eukaryotic cells. Structurally, myosins form heteromeric complexes, with smaller light chains such as calmodulin (CaM) bound to isoleucine-glutamine (IQ) domains in the neck region.
