RATIONALE: Birt-Hogg-Dube (BHD) syndrome is a rare autosomal dominant disorder characterized by a triad of manifestations, including recurrent spontaneous pneumothorax, multiple cutaneous fibrofolliculomas, and renal neoplasms.
