Zucchini tigre mosaic virus (ZTMV) is a positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus belonging to the genus Potyvirus. In this study, a full-length infectious cDNA clone of a ZTMV strain infecting snake gourd (Trichosanthes cucumerina var. anguina L.) was constructed and shown to infect snake gourd, chieh-qua, zucchini, ridge gourd, and bitter melon.
