Flowering time is a key agronomic trait that directly affects soybean yield. Both APETALA1 (AP1) and SUPPRESSOR OF OVEREXPRESSION OF CO 1 (SOC1) regulate flowering time in soybean, but their genetic and regulatory relationships have not been clarified.
