Rotavirus group C is an important cause of sporadic cases and outbreaks of gastroenteritis worldwide. Whole-Genome sequences of human rotavirus C (RVC) in public databases are limited. We performed genome sequencing to analyze a RVC outbreak of acute gastroenteritis in China.
