To determine the pathogenicity of two different genotypes of avian hepatitis E strains in two species of birds, a total of thirty healthy 12-week-old birds were used. After inoculation, fecal virus shedding, viremia, seroconversion, serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) increases and liver lesions were evaluated.
