Background Cutaneous epidermal nevi are genotypically diverse mosaic disorders. Pathogenic hotspot variants inHRAS,KRAS, and less frequently, NRASandBRAFmay cause isolated keratinocytic epidermal nevi and sebaceous nevi or several different syndromes when associated with extracutaneous anomalies.
