INTRODUCTION/AIMS: The periodic paralyses are muscle channelopathies: hypokalemic periodic paralysis (CACNA1S and SCN4A variants), hyperkalemic periodic paralysis (SCN4A variants), and Andersen-Tawil syndrome (KCNJ2).
