Purpose: This study was conducted to find out the occurrence of hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae (hvKP) isolates from different clinical specimens in a tertiary care hospital of eastern India and investigate the distribution of virulence factors, capsular serotypes and antibiogram profile.
