Pathogenic variants in OTOF cause auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder (ANSD), namely prelingual nonsyndromic ANSD and temperature-sensitive ANSD (TS-ANSD). All study subjects provided blood sample for genetic analysis and sequencing. Wholeexome sequencing was carried out to identify the causative pathogenic variant.
