Inherited Arrhythmia Syndromes (IAS) including long QT and Brugada Syndrome, are characterized by life-threatening arrhythmias in the absence of apparent structural heart disease and are caused by pathogenic variants in genes encoding cardiac ion channels or associated proteins.
