Abstract excerpt
Seroclearance of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) ("functional cure") is the optimal endpoint of antiviral therapy for chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. Currently available anti-HBV therapy includes nucleoside/nucleotide analogs (NAs) and peginterferon-α (Peg-IFNα).
