Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of mortality among gynecologic cancers in the United States, expected to result in roughly 13,940 deaths in 2020. Between 2008 and 2017, mortality decreased by 2.3% per year. Incidence rates also decreased, with a 1.6% drop per year from 2007 to 2016.
