BACKGROUND: Zhu-Tokita-Takenouchi-Kim (ZTTK, OMIM# 617140) syndrome is a rare, autosomal dominant genetic disorder caused by heterozygous variants in the SON gene (OMIM#182465, GenBank#NC_000021.9).
