Neuromuscular disorders are mostly rare diseases with autosomal dominant, recessive, or X-linked inheritance. Interestingly, among patients carrying the same mutations, a range of phenotypic severity is reported. This phenotypic variability in neuromuscular disorders is still not fully understood.
