Isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) inhibitors have clinical activity in acute myeloid leukemia, in part, by differentiating blasts to mature myeloid cells. In the largest systematic analysis to date, differentiation syndrome was seen in 19% of patients treated with IDH inhibitors.
