Genus Zacco specimens collected in this study were classified genetically as five species, Zacco platypus, Z. temminckii, Z. koreanus and two unidentified species, using DNA barcoding analysis based on 655 bp of mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) gene.
