KEY MESSAGE: Two new Hessian fly resistance QTLs (H35 and H36) and tightly linked SNP markers were identified in a US hard winter wheat SD06165. Hessian fly (HF), Mayetiola destructor (Say), is one of the most destructive pests in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) worldwide.
