INTRODUCTION: This study reports the genotype prevalence of hepatitis C virus (HCV) in Pará, Brazil. METHODS: A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted on 344 plasma samples sent to the Lacen-Pará for diagnostics by molecular techniques.
